  11. Hi, I've been having some very unusual problems with my new Sportster.  Almost 
  12. everytime I try to connect to my University modem pool I get disconnected 
  13. within 40 seconds for absolutely no reason.  If I do ati6 sometimes it tells me 
  14. the reason for disconnect was an invalid codeword, whatever that means.  But 
  15. often times it tells me that I never even made a connection and all the numbers 
  16. are zeros.  I've never had any problems with my old modem a Supra 14.4.  This 
  17. problem occurs in DOS, Windows comm programs, but only the first couple times I 
  18. try after the third or so it seems stable.  I don't know if this problem only 
  19. occurs with the University's modem pool since they are the only thing I dial in 
  20. to.  Has anyone seen or heard of this problem before???  I would greatly 
  21. appreciate any help!  Thanks.
